Dear Reader

Dear Reader,

That’s you. Whoever you are; wherever you are. We may know each other in passing or maybe once we were passionate lovers. Either way, something has brought you here to read these words.

For the last three years I have pushed through and published a new book each year. For 2026 I am not sure that is going to happen. Not because I can’t do it, but because I’m looking to take my writing to a different place. To do that I need to break away from the standard writing mechanisms I’ve been using. It doesn’t mean with all certainty that I will not publish something this year, however, publishing is not going to be the focus.

For those of you who enjoy my writing, good news, I will be doing my best to share something here every day for the remainder of the year. Some of it may be chapters from works in progress, some of it short fiction, some of it musings, and some of it truth dressed up as fiction. I leave that for you, Dear Reader, to determine which it is.

These works will be raw, light editing (mostly trying to avoid typos), and at times it will be dark. My goal is to not filter. In a time where it seems we’ve all begun filtering ourselves either to appease the algorithm overlords and an ever growing list of triggers that have become taboo to speak of; I will break that barrier when I need to for the sake of the story. This, Dear Reader, will be your one notice of this.

I am not writing for likes or virality. I am writing to grow, to explore the dark places, to find a style of writing that is 100% my own. Afterall, what is an author without their voice?

If you plan to stay for the ride, buckle up sunshine, the road is bumpy and I’m stepping full throttle on the gas.

Until tomorrow Dear Reader.

If you want updates…you know what to do.
